Recovery time after a chemical peel is dependant on the type of peel.
For superficial peels, also known as light peels, there is no recovery period. Superfical peels immediately leave skin feeling tight and bright.
Medium chemical peels require a short healing time. Your skin may feel tight or sunburned. You’ll experience flaking and peeling skin for 4-7 after your procedure. It usually takes that length of time for the treated areas to develop new skin.
